Sweet Nostalgia Candy Gift Lunch Box
Desperate times call for desperate measures -- even if those measures may affect your waist line! Not that we condone gluttony or high-caloric gorging, as the mere thought of either just isn't that pretty. Ew! However, we do condone the pretty thought behind harmless pick-me-up gifts in moderation, like the occasional gift box o' goodies.
Whether you've tuned out the nagging news or not, or if you've been hit by recent troubles or not, if you can afford just a little extra happy cash to brighten your day or the day of those around you -- whether at the office, your book club or neighbor's house -- candy just might the ultimate comfort food to bring an extra smile to someone who hasn't had many lately.
Our current favorite is the Sweet Nostalgia candy lunch box from Gift Tree, namely because of the bright, happy DOTS lunch box and the selection of candy that just isn't sugary but sweet with the old whimsical fun of candy, too. For more info on the gift lunch box, here's the ditty from Gift Tree:
"Remember the good old days of penny candy? Do you know someone who fondly remembers riding their bike to the local mom-and=pop candy store to purchase Pixy Stix? All those memories will come flooding back with Sweet Nostalgia. Inside a DOTS lunchbox we have included hard-to-find favorite candies from the '50s, '60s and '70s, including a PEZ dispenser, Nik-L-Nip, Chick O Stick, a candy necklace, candy dots, Sugar Daddy, Cracker Jacks and much, much more. Gift measures 14in. x 10in. x 6in.''
