Sleek and Stylish Setcast Bone China Collection by Voon Wong and Benson Saw
Molecules, fragments, creases... These words don't exactly conjure pretty images all on their own (They make us think of Chemistry 101... Ew!). But use them as names for sleek and stylish bone china, and voila! Our ears perk up. If you want avant garde china that boldly displays new shapes and forms, you ought to check out the Setcast Bone China collection by designers Voon Wong and Benson Saw and Asianera, a manufacturer of bone china in Tangshan, China.
Although the collection should become more readily available some time in 2009, we were ecstatic to find some pieces already available via Merchant No. 4 in New York. Our favorites are the "Molecules" condiment dishes, the "Fragment" tealight holders and the elegant "Crease" dishes that look like they could be folded into origami.
