Welcome, Lovelies!

Our Mission
To make the world a prettier place to live and love in, by sharing glorious support of pretty things, pretty places and pretty people (who are equally pretty inside and out), and by committing ourselves to fearlessly fighting fug, aesthetic evils and the shrewdness of ugly spirits, wherever we may find them.

If it isn't pretty... ew!

Hand-held Vacuum or Modern Art? Sculptural Hand-Held Vacuum SG67 W/USA

Hmmmph. Spring cleaning is upon us again. Tackling the dirt, dust and festering fugment that has crept into the nooks and crannies of one's abode is not the most pleasant of things, but unfortunately an necessity for prettimaintenance (the maintenance of prettiment).

So, while we were sweeping and Swiffering, we found a shiny, sculptural sucker-upper worthy of its own pedestal. It's a stainless steel and plastic, hand-held vacuum designed by Stefano Giovannoni. At first glance, we were reminded of a dolphin sculpture by Brancusi. Who knew a dust-buster could be so chic? You can buy the Giovannoni vacuum at one of our favorite Web sites, retromodern.com.

Pretty Note: Our posts have been less frequent as of late because we're also doing some spring cleaning on the site -- trying to design a much prettier one!
